Bored housewife Anne wants to ditch the mundane annual caravan holiday and head for more exotic places.
The problem is when it comes to flying her husband Dave is less than keen.
Is a simulated flying course the answer?
Enrolling them on the “Fly with Confidence” course is her last-ditch attempt to change the holiday habits.
The fun starts when they gather on a rainy day in the departure lounge of a regional airport and meet the rest of the group led by a less than competent pilot and his overzealous air hostess. The other fearful flyers include: a psychotic lorry driver, a middle-aged alcoholic, an asthmatic hyper lonely widow, and a nymphomaniac mature graduate all trying to conquer their fear.
Is this the adventure that will send them happily around the globe or is Anne destined for a life of early starts, lengthy map reading car journeys and good old British summer.
